Concerns / Comments
The Mutual Ministry Committee is presently inactive with plans to renew it in 2012. During this time any concerns or issues that you may have can be communicated to the Council President (Roland Jacobson), any member of the Executive Committee of the Council (Lynn Chylek, Sally Farrell, Linda Bonifas), or any member of the Church Council. Of course, you can always discuss your concerns with Pastor Chris and that is encouraged. Refer to Matthew 18: 15 – 17 for ongoing guidance from Jesus.
Long Range Planning Work Team
Now that the Cottage Meetings have completed it is time to get to work on the information that has been collected. A work team will be formed to meet one evening and develop future plans for the church based on this information. If you would like to be on this team, or would like further information on this work team, please contact Pastor Chris or the church office.
Rally Day Sunday Report
Rally Day Sunday got off a great start with a breakfast of scrambled eggs and pancakes that was enjoyed by all. The breakfast was served from 9:00 to 10:00.
32 students registered for Pioneer Club and close to 20 people signed up to be volunteers for the Prayer Pal Program.
Confirmation schedules were available and students were signing up for the various confirmation requirements.
Information was available on the Choir, Prayer Shawl Program, Joy Book Club and Quilting program.
During the 10:30 service, Pastor Chris recognized all of the Pioneer Club students, teachers, and parents.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Rally Day Sunday and helped to make it a success.

Pop Top Tabs
Over the Summer months there has been a friendly competition between our fellow brothers and sisters at Bethany and Immanuel. The competition was to collect as many pop top tabs as possible and Christ the King more than rose to the occasion. Over 200 pounds of tabs came from Christ the King alone and the total collected was 274 pounds! The money generated from the tabs was $162.00 and the money will be used to benefit the organization Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). It is planned that another competition will be coming up in the future so keep those tabs coming. See the pictures below of the weigh in which was held at Elmer’s Grocery.
